ZENN Motor Co drops EVERYTHING to wait for Eestor’s superbattery

ZENN Motor Co drops EVERYTHING to wait for Eestor’s superbattery Ian Clifford, CEO of ZENN Motor Company, has narrowed the entire focus of his company to a risky proposition with huge potential: Eestor’s ultracapacitor battery. Originally ZENN built small electric cars that could achieve low speeds for city driving, but revenue in that segment must be slim because the company has paused those efforts. Instead, it plans to wait for ultra-private Eestor to furnish a working commercial version of its ultracapacitor battery– supposedly by the end of this year.

So far Eestor has engaged in various third party “confirmations” that its technology is on track, but has provided no hard evidence. The stage is set in a favorable way for Eestor because ultracapacitors are already produced and used with success. The advantage with current ultracapacitors on the market is their ability to quickly charge and discharge equal amounts of energy. So why haven’t we already had a battery revolution?

The answer lies with a basic limitation, ultracapacitors have low energy density, they can only store smaller amounts of energy quickly. That’s the exact problem Eestor is claiming to fix, which hints at just enough reality to make investors frantically interested and engineers scratch their head at the possibilities.

Clifford is candid about the future of his business when he says:

The entire aspect of our business model is dependent on EEStor commercializing that technology. The transformative moment is with the commercial proof, and then the whole tenor of the discussion changes to the excitement about the reality. According to The Star.

He’s absolutely right, if Eestor delivers on its claims. Then he could built out a drivetrain system it calls ZENNergy (similar to what Toyota has done with its hybrid synergy drive) that many car manufacturers would purchase and fit into their production lines.

Clifford cites part of the reason for his company’s shift is the difficulty inherent with being a small time car manufacturer focused on electric vehicles. Other companies like Tesla, Coda, and Fisker face hurdles like infrastructure outlays and distribution networks and he doesn’t want to be boxed in by those restrictions.

Instead, if Clifford’s all-or-nothing bet on Eestor wins out, he’ll be converting all of those competitors into eagerly paying customers.

If anyone believes EESTor's claims, there is a company which claims 20x the energy density of EESTor.  The company is Moe, Larry, and Curly Ultracapacitors (MLCU Inc).  Moe Howard worked with Albert Einstein 50 years ago.  MLCU Inc. is working under the radar.   There is hype from a blogger with a bag over his head MLCU are working with  NASA and Martians.  MLCU is expected to demonstrate public their ultracapacitor end of year.  We just don't know what year...Moe Howard was recently quoted the same year as EEStor is to demonstrate, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, etc.  Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuck!

I agree with your sentiment, Mr. Wierdo. I really don't want to hear or see anything regarding Eestor or ZENN until they have a working prototype or commercial product.

Eestor is real!....I have $5 million in my bank account, from investors, to prove it's real!

You can learn all the facts about ZENN and EESTOR on a blog site that has done a fantastic job over the last few years. The biggest percentage of the follows on that site who have learned the history of EESTOR, believe it is not a scam and that the public reveal of a eestor product off their production line will happen by the end of the year. no BS from a blogger with a bag over his head who has a "small investment in Zenn", and guaranteed no blogger with a bag over his head will call you an idiot or schmuck if you are a skeptic.

Fact is, anyone who baldly states that Eestor is either absolutely legit or a complete scam without first-hand working knowledge is just speculating.

I really, really hope that all the naysayers who are much disguising their speculation as concrete fact have the occasion to eat a lifetime's worth of crow in the coming year. Otherwise, they'll think they actually knew something.

Anonymous,

Make sure you have plenty of crow for Baghead and yourself when EESCAM does not deliver end of year as usual since 2004.

Naysayers: everybody realizes you're tired of the ungrounded hype about Eestor. Who isn't? But you have to realize you're committing yourselves to the same game, on the same level as believers when all you do is put forth aggressive speculation.

Grow up already, if it pisses you off then why bother in the first place?

The Underwriters Laboratory has already received a request from Eestor to certify their ultra-capacitor and may already be in the process of testing the device.

If you believe Dick Weir's BS from the leaked investor call he has contacted UL 3 years ago.  Why is it taken so long for UL approval, because it is BS.

You or anyone can send $100.00 and a application to request for a UL certification, proves nothing.

There is no proof UL is "already" in the process of testing anything of EESCAM, that is wishful thinking on the part of all the followers of the blogger with the bag over his head BAGHEAD.

EESTOR-PUTUP OR SHUTUP ENOUGH OF THE BS SINCE YOUR INC. IN 2001.

Why is the EEStor/Zenn story not being covered as a SCAM? Isn't it a crime to lie to potential investors in order to obtain funding from them especially 10 million dollars?
